'He’s making history': Walcott praises Mikel Arteta’s transformative work
1
Former Arsenal striker Theo Walcott has lauded the impact of manager Mikel Arteta at the helm of the Gunners.
"They went to the Santiago Bernabeu and didn’t just secure a result to reach the Champions League semi-finals. Arsenal beat Real Madrid on their own turf in the Champions League. That’s an incredible achievement," Walcott said.
"When we talk about the club’s new chapter, we have to mention Mikel Arteta, who will keep making history moving forward," Theo Walcott added.
Arsenal’s victory marked their first Champions League semi-final appearance since 2009.
