Nico Williams scored the winner for Athletic Bilbao to help them overcome Rangers and book their place in the Europa League semi-final.
Sancet had opened the scoring for Bilbao in the game, helping them secure a 2-0 aggregate win against the Scottish club.
Meanwhile, Real Betis won their Europa Conference League quarter-final tie against Jagiellonia 3-1 on aggregate. Their game ended 1-1 on the second leg.
Before all that, Barcelona booked their place in the Champions League semi-final after beating Dortmund 5-3 on aggregate in the quarter-final.
Thus, Spain have three teams in the semi-final of each of Europe's major club competitions.
That could mean that the top five La Liga teams will qualify for the Champions League next season.
