Southampton’s 28-year-old defender Kyle Walker-Peters will become a free agent this summer, having decided not to extend his contract with the club he joined in 2020.
As well as Tottenham, it is also understood that Chelsea are another big name monitoring Walker-Peters' situation. However, Spurs, Walker-Peters’ boyhood club, are showing the strongest interest and could soon table an official offer.
This season, Walker-Peters has featured in 32 matches for the Saints across the Premier League and FA Cup, recording two assists and five yellow cards.
Transfermarkt values the Jamaican-born player at €18 million.
