'We tried but things didn't work out': Asencio on Champions League exit
Real Madrid youngster Raul Asencio has reacted to his side's defeat to Arsenal in the Champions League.
"We tried but things didn't work out the way we wanted," wrote the defender on Instagram.
"Madrid fans, thank you for the support and believing in the comeback. We’ll fight to bring you more joy this season. Hala Madrid."
Asencio had a difficult night out against Arsenal, much like his teammates, but will hope to get his breakout season back on track in the next matches.
