Fulham coach Silva: Chelsea clash 'final' for us

Fulham manager Marco Silva has emphasized the importance of Saturday's West London derby against Chelsea, describing it as a "final" for his side.

With European qualification still within reach, Silva's team will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 1-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth.

"It's going to be a special derby for the fans, being able to play at home is very good," Silva said.

"Every game is going to be even more important, because it's coming to an end, and we have to get as many points as we can, to fight for what we want."

Silva acknowledged Chelsea's quality, highlighting their ability to field two strong teams across different competitions.

"All of us recognise the quality that they have, collective and individual," he said. "They have a lot of young but very good players, and it's going to be a very difficult game for us."

Despite the challenge, Silva is confident in his team's ability to perform well, citing their recent history against Chelsea.

"The last three years we have been breaking some important results in the history of this club against Chelsea," he stated. "Let's hope we can do the same against a very, very good side."
