'It's a learning process and great experience for me': Enzo Maresca on defeat to Legia
Despite 2-1 loss to Legia Warsaw in the UEFA Conference League quarter-final second leg, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca remained composed and optimistic about his team’s progress. With a 3-0 advantage from the first leg, the Blues secured their place in the semi-finals and now look ahead to a demanding schedule.
Reflecting on the challenges of managing a packed fixture list, Maresca spoke of the ongoing development process for both himself and his squad.
"It's a learning process, especially because of the amount of games we have this season, so even for me personally it's a learning process because you have to play every three days, you have to decide when you rotate players, the reason why you rotate players, so overall it's a great experience also for me.
"As you said, we are in the last part, now we have six Premier League games plus the semi-finals, so at the moment we have eight games to go and they are all, for different reasons, all finals for us," Maresca has said.
