Man United join race for Monaco striker Akliouche - L’Equipe
Manchester United have entered the race to sign AS Monaco forward Maghnes Akliouche, according to a report from L’Équipe.
The 23-year-old is expected to leave Monaco in the summer, with the club setting a price tag of €70-80m.
Akliouche had opted to stay at Monaco last summer despite interest from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, even extending his contract until 2028.
However, after his most consistent season, a departure is now expected, with Monaco likely to cash in on one of their brightest talents.
Monaco coach Adi Hütter believes Akliouche is ready for the next step, saying, "When you ask me, he is ready to make the next step.
"We will see what happens with Maghnes." Akliouche's impressive form has also earned him consideration for a first call-up to the France national team.
