'My thoughts are on Leicester, I don't look back or forward a lot': Arne Slot on Premier League title
With just two wins separating Liverpool from Premier League glory, Arne Slot insists his focus remains firmly on the immediate challenge - clash with Leicester City.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the Reds boss was quick to downplay any title talk, emphasising that he’s staying grounded despite Liverpool’s commanding position with six games left to play.
"My thoughts are not on that at all, my thoughts are on Leicester on our team, what we can do better. During this week, we've worked on that a lot, we are working towards Leicester one game at a time.
"I am not sure if you believe me! It's the honest answer, my whole life I live in the moment, in the day, I don't look back or forward a lot, I don't look back at what I have done, people tell you to enjoy but as a manager you think of the game at the weekend and you need to win that and then the next. I have been in football so long you get used to living day by day," Slot has stated.
