Barcelona hopeful Lewandowski will return within three weeks – reports

Barcelona are optimistic that Robert Lewandowski's hamstring injury will not sideline him for more than three weeks. The Polish striker sustained the injury during Saturday's 4-3 LaLiga victory over Celta Vigo, exiting the match in the 78th minute after signaling discomfort in his left thigh.

Initial assessments suggest a potential tear in the biceps femoris muscle, which could rule him out of the upcoming Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid on April 26 and the Champions League semi-final first leg against Inter Milan on April 30.

However, according to journalist Helena Condis of COPE, the club remains hopeful that his recovery period will be limited to three weeks.

In Lewandowski's absence, Ferran Torres is expected to step into the central striker role for these critical fixtures. Barcelona aim to have Lewandowski fit for the LaLiga Clasico against Real Madrid on May 11.
