Kevin De Bruyne is surprised that Manchester City didn’t offer him a new contract.
The 33-year-old Belgian will leave City as a free agent.
“It was a bit of a shock. I didn’t receive any offers from them throughout the entire year. And then the club made its decision. Of course, I was a little surprised, but I had to accept it.
"Honestly, I still believe I can perform at this level. But I understand that clubs have to make decisions,” the midfielder said.
