Speaking about Christopher Nkunku’s performances for Chelsea and his future at Stamford Bridge, William Gallas told Slingo: “Christopher Nkunku's performances this season have not been strong enough, he isn't offering good enough competition in the squad.
“Nkunku wants to feel that love and importance at the club, to be that number one. For me, it looks difficult for Nkunku to make an impact if he were to stay at Chelsea this summer.”
The French forward has scored 14 goals in 42 matches for the Blues so far this season, out of which five goals have come in the Europa Conference League.
Bayern Muninch could reignite their interest for Nkunku in the summer, but it remains to be seen if the Blues sell him.
