Italiano: 'Inter are one of the best teams in the world, but Bologna have confidence'
Bologna head coach Vincenzo Italiano has spoken ahead of the 33rd round Serie A clash against Inter Milan, as quoted by Football Italia.
"Our goal is European competitions, and then we’ll see which tournament it turns out to be. The Champions League would be a masterpiece, but the main goal is simply to be in Europe.
"There are areas in the table where we need to move at supersonic speed. If you make a mistake, like we did in Bergamo, you put it behind you and move on.
"I don’t like this constant obsession with dropped points in the race for the Champions League. Let’s also not forget that we’re in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia, so the battle continues until the end of the season.
"We have to be 100 percent focused for the full 90 minutes because Inter knows how to exploit weaknesses.
"They’re truly a complete team with talent in all areas, including the bench. We can only hope Inter is a bit tired from all their recent matches.
"Our home performances have always been strong, and we need to give everything after the loss to Atalanta. What we’ve achieved over the last three months can’t be erased by one match. We must not change our approach now or lose confidence, even if tomorrow we’re facing one of the best teams in the world," said Italiano.
