Bayern Munich eye Xavi Simons as Wirtz alternative, Leipzig set €80m price tag - Sky

Bayern Munich have identified RB Leipzig’s attacking star Xavi Simons as a potential alternative to Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, as per to Sky journalist Philipp Hinze.

In the interview, Simons has remained non-committal about his future: "I have dreams, and the club knows them. My focus is on the final games, then the national team. After that, we’ll sit down and see," he said.

Leipzig are unfazed, with Sky reporter Philipp Hinze noting the club is open to a summer exit if a €80 million package is met. Simons’ decision hinges on Leipzig’s squad plans, their next manager, Champions League qualification, and interest from top clubs.
