Brazil in advanced talks to appoint Carlo Ancelotti as national team coach - reports

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is in advanced negotiations with Carlo Ancelotti to become the Brazil national team coach starting this summer, according to insider Nicolo Schira.

The CBF is confident in convincing the 65-year-old Italian, who is expected to leave Real Madrid after the Copa del Rey final on April 26.

Ancelotti, with 10 titles at Madrid, including a 2023-24 La Liga-Champions League double, is the CBF’s top choice to lead Brazil into the 2026 World Cup, leveraging his strong rapport with players like Vinicius Junior and Rogrygo.
