Juventus face growing competition for Feyenoord’s €40m star defender Hancko - reports

Juventus are intensifying their pursuit of Feyenoord’s standout centre-back David Hancko, but the Turin giants are encountering stiff competition.

According to Tuttomercato, Juventus’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is determined to secure the Slovakian defender, with preliminary personal terms already agreed.

However, finalising the transfer fee with Feyenoord, who demand €40 million, remains a hurdle. Bayer Leverkusen, long-time admirers of Hancko, and Everton are also in the race, but Atletico Madrid have emerged as the primary threat, leveraging their transfer market prowess to sway both Feyenoord and the player.

Hancko has impressed this season, contributing four goals and four assists in 42 matches across all competitions for Feyenoord.
