Al-Ittihad intensify negotiations to sign Ederson from Manchester City - reports
Al-Ittihad are ramping up efforts to secure the services of Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson. The Saudi Arabian club, currently home to stars like Fabinho, Houssem Aouar, Danilo Pereira, and Karim Benzema, has made the Brazilian shot-stopper one of their key transfer targets.
According to Foot Mercato, Ederson's agent has been in close discussions with Ramon Planes, the sporting director of Al-Ittihad, over recent weeks. The club is pushing forward with negotiations to bring the 31-year-old to the Saudi Pro League, as they look to strengthen their squad under the management of Laurent Blanc.
Ederson’s potential move to Al-Ittihad marks another significant step in the ongoing transformation of Manchester City, with the club set for a tactical and structural shift in the near future.
Alongside Kevin De Bruyne, Ederson is expected to leave the club, with his future seemingly pointing toward Saudi Arabia.
