Enrique on 1–3 loss: 'I want to congratulate Nice. They showed 100% efficiency'
Luis Enrique has commented on PSG’s 1–3 defeat to Nice in Ligue 1.
"First of all, I want to congratulate Nice. They showed 100% efficiency. They came close to our goal once in the first half – and scored. Then they had two more chances – and converted them, showing extremely high efficiency.
"I don't think the result is fair. We played well throughout the entire match. By halftime, we deserved more than just a draw, and in the second half we conceded after their very first chance. It's an unexpected result, but that happens.
"We wanted to keep breaking records, but this one [remaining unbeaten in the league] is already gone. Still, it doesn’t change our goal – reaching the Champions League final," said the PSG coach.
