Hansi Flick: 'Treble is still an option, but we have to keep working hard'
Hansi Flick, barely able to speak but with a wide smile, spoke to TVE microphones after Barcelona secured the Copa del Rey title against Real Madrid. The German coach expressed pride in his players’ efforts and the victory over such a special rival.
On the win: “I’m really happy for my team and the incredible work they’ve put in. The way they fought, how they managed to turn things around—it’s been absolutely amazing. I’m so proud of my team.”
On the final against Real Madrid: “Winning a title in a match like the Clasico against Real Madrid is always special. I’m happy for my players and for the 26,000 Barcelona fans in the stands. They truly deserved this victory.”
On the treble, is it possible?: “Now, we need to celebrate this win and then focus on recovery. The treble is still an option, but we have to keep working hard.”
