'He's special, you know': Jurrien Timber hails Myles Lewis-Skelly's performance in breakthrough Arsenal campaign
Jurrien Timber has hailed the quality that Myles Lewis-Skelly has been able to show in his breakthrough campaign for Arsenal.
The Dutchman stated: “It’s incredible, it’s incredible with Myles, I want to say he’s a kid, but he’s not a kid anymore, I think he’s so mature, he’s special you know.
“He does it on the biggest stage, he just does it. Off the pitch he’s so nice and kind, you don’t see the lion that comes out on the pitch, which I love to see, The whole backline the level is insane, we push each other and I’m lucky to be a part of it.”
Lewis-Skelly has made 33 appearances for Arsenal so far this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in all competitions.
It’s his performances in the big games, especially in the Champions League quarterfinal against Real Madrid and win over Man City, that have made him a regular starter in Mikel Arteta’s side.
