Real Betis director Fajardo: 'We will try in different ways to continue enjoying Antony'
Real Betis’ sporting director Manu Fajardo remains upbeat about his side’s chances of retaining the services of Antony beyond the 2024/25 season.
He stated: “It is a source of satisfaction on a personal level [to have brought Antony to Real Betis], but it is the result of teamwork.
“Although I am responsible for the sporting management, there are many people involved in this signing. It’s still early, but we will try in different ways to do everything possible to continue enjoying Antony.”
Man United reportedly won’t allow Antony to go out on loan again in the 2025/26 season, as they want to generate funds from a permanent sale.
The Brazilian winger has enjoyed a prolific loan spell at Betis so far, scoring five goals and providing four assists in 18 games so far.
