'We played at a high level': Ancelotti praises Real Madrid performance in final despite defeat
27
"We played a high-level game," Carlo Ancelotti said after the Copa del Rey final.
"We did everything we could. I can't criticize the team."
"Barcelona dominated the first half and we dominated the second.
"It was so close. We were so close to winning it.
"Now it's time to fight for La Liga," Ancelotti concludes.
Ancelotti is probably correct. Real Madrid played really well in the second half and turned the game upside down.
In the end, it came down to small details of mistakes from Brahim and Courtois to allow Barcelona to win the game.
