Wolves boss Vitor Pereira on Matheus Cunha: 'He's our player and he's committed'
Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has sent a clear message to Man United on the future of Matheus Cunha amidst the forward’s links to the club.
When asked about the questions around Cunha’s future, the Portuguese boss stated: “He’s committed.
“He’s our player and he’s committed, that’s all. He has the mentality to help the team. It’s normal that [Cunha is mentioned] every time on the news, but this is not for me. I don’t care about the news.
“Right now it is easy to talk about him. He came here to help us, this is the most important point. When you show these kind of things on the pitch, he has his hand in it.
"Everyone is very happy to have him and all the coaches around.”
The Brazilian forward is reportedly keen on a move to Old Trafford, but Man United will need to secure an agreement with Wolves before anything can be done.
Cunha has now scored 15 goals in the 2024/25 Premier League season for Wolves and is enjoying his most prolific campaign yet.
