Hansi Flick has expressed immense pride in his team following Barcelona's dramatic 3-2 extra-time victory over Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final, highlighting their relentless determination and team spirit.
"I’m incredibly proud of my team. It’s amazing to see how they always respond and fight for everything. They never give up, and it’s not just me who’s proud – everyone is. The fans, the club… they truly deserve this," Flick said, praising his players' resilience.
Flick also commended Jules Kounde’s performance during extra time, saying, "Jules made crucial saves against Madrid in extra time and then scored the decisive goal."
Reflecting on his role within the team, Flick focused on creating a positive environment. "From the start of the season, I’ve said my role here is to create an atmosphere where the players can enjoy themselves and perform at their best. It’s important for them to have that environment, and the whole staff is doing a fantastic job, not just the coach."
