Jules Kounde has emerged as Barcelona’s hero, scoring the decisive goal in extra time to clinch a 3-2 victory over arch-rivals Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final. The French defender’s 116th-minute strike sealed Barcelona’s 32nd title in the competition.
"It’s hard to say if it’s the best moment of my career, but it’s up there," Kounde told reporters. "I became a footballer for matches like this - a Clasico, the biggest game in the world." Barcelona showed resilience, with Kounde praising the team’s character.
With La Liga lead and a Champions League semi-final against Inter looming, Kounde remains focused: "It’s one more title; two more to chase."
