Dani Olmo on treble quest: At Barca, you always play to win everything
As Barcelona prepare to take on Inter in the Champions League semi-finals, striker Dani Olmo shared his thoughts on the prestigious tournament and his journey with the club.
In an interview with UCL Show, Olmo opened up about returning to Barcelona after a decade away, saying, "Some say I've come full circle."
Olmo, who joined La Masia at 14, credited the academy with helping him grow both on and off the pitch.
"You're no longer with your parents, you have to do everything on your own," he recalled, highlighting the independence and resilience he developed during his time there.
Despite being shaped by Barcelona's philosophy, Olmo emphasized that players who emerge from La Masia are not carbon copies.
"Those who leave learn things that can help them improve," he noted, underscoring the individual growth that occurs within the academy.
For Olmo, wearing the Barcelona shirt every day is a special experience, but he sees it as just the beginning.
"I want to continue my journey, show my game, and win titles with this shirt," he said, expressing his ambitions for the season.
When asked about the possibility of a treble, Olmo was unequivocal: "At Barcelona, you always play to win everything. We'll try."
