Fiorentina contact Thomas Muller's agent: 'There's no deal, but...'
It has been known since early April that Thomas Muller will leave Bayern Munich in the summer of 2025, as the club's management decided not to offer him a new contract.
Recently, Muller has been linked with several clubs. According to Bild, there is interest from Fiorentina. The Italian club have even reached out to an intermediary to communicate their interest in the 2014 World Cup winner.
Italian transfer insider Gianluca di Marzio reported that Fiorentina have already contacted Muller's agent (Kogl & Partner GmbH) to inquire about a potential move.
"Regarding Thomas Muller, I can confirm that Fiorentina contacted his agent to gather information. There's no deal yet, but they asked if Müller would be interested in moving to Italy, as no Italian club can match his salary at Bayern Munich," said di Marzio.
He added that Muller could be a good fit in Serie A: "Fiorentina are ideal destination for former Bayern Munich players like Franck Ribery or Mario Gomez. They will try to sell Thomas Muller, highlighting the fact that he could play freely and enjoy a city that will love him."
However, according to Bild, Muller has no interest in a move to Florence.
