Lamine Yamal spoke ahead of Barcelona's upcoming Champions League clash with Inter Milan on Wednesday. He addressed several topics regarding his career and the challenges he faces.
Lamine Yamal: "At my age, few players have played as many matches for a team as Barca. What I value most is the day-to-day motivation."
On comparisons to Lionel Messi, Yamal said: "I don't compare myself to anyone, much less Messi. I'll leave that to you. We focus on improving. The comparison is pointless. I admire him; he's the best in history."
Yamal also made it clear that he doesn't seek to match others: "I try to enjoy myself and follow my own path. I haven't spoken to him."
