Liverpool may refuse to buy Kerkez
Liverpool may refuse to buy Bournemouth's left-back Milos Kerkez this coming summer.
After appointing Arne Slot as their head coach last summer, Liverpool only spent on Federico Chiesa and Giorgi Mamardashvili, with the former ending up injured and the latter staying at Valencia for the season. According to The Telegraph, Liverpool will support Slot in the transfer market this coming summer, but the Merseyside club will continue to act very rationally when it comes to signings. For this reason, Liverpool may refuse to bring in Kerkez. The Reds do not want to overpay for a player whose main role would be to ease the workload on Andy Robertson.
Similarly, Liverpool also find the price tags of forwards Alexander Isak from Newcastle and Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht too high, as they are currently valued at 130 million and 80 million pounds, respectively.
