London Mayor: 'Stamford Bridge is too small for Chelsea who won Champions League twice'

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has issued an open invitation to Chelsea to discuss expansion plans in the near future.
Quoted by the Daily Mail, Khan said at a recent media briefing: "My message to Chelsea is come and speak to us in relation to what you want to do [to expand the stadium].
"Chelsea are the victims of their success, and Stamford Bridge is now too small for them.
"After all, this is a team that has twice won the Champions League."
So far, Chelsea have not discussed plans for an expansion under new owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
