Real Madrid confirm David Alaba injury blow

Real Madrid wrote in a short statement: "Following tests performed on our player David Alaba by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a tear of the internal meniscus in his left knee".
Alaba started Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over Getafe last Wednesday but was forced off at half-time and was replaced by Camavinga.
He missed the Copa del Rey final defeat against Barcelona and could be out for the remainder of the season.
Alaba adds to Madrid's injury crisis with Rudiger, Mendy and Camavinga already ruled out for the remainder of the season.
