Tonali determined to stay at Newcastle despite Juventus and Man City interest - The Telegraph

Sandro Tonali has expressed his firm commitment to Newcastle United, aiming to repay manager Eddie Howe, the fans, and the club for their unwavering support during his 10-month gambling suspension, according to The Telegraph.

Since returning to action in August, the Italian midfielder has rediscovered his top form, becoming a key figure in Newcastle’s powerful midfield trio alongside Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton.

Although Tonali initially struggled to adapt to the pace of English football and was gradually eased back into the side by Howe, the 24-year-old is now playing the kind of football that convinced Newcastle to sign him from AC Milan. The club sees him as a central part of their future and wants to build around him in the coming years.

Reports in Italy have linked Tonali with a return to Serie A, particularly with Juventus, while Manchester City have also been credited with interest. However, sources close to the player have confirmed that Tonali is happy, settled on Tyneside, and fully committed to continuing his journey under Howe.
