Attempts to assault Laporta and Barcelona officials at Giuseppe Meazza during Inter match - reports

3

Barcelona left the Giuseppe Meazza on Tuesday in frustration, upset for two main reasons. The first was the refereeing of Marciniak, which angered the players throughout the match. Afterwards, the squad, staff, and board heavily criticised the Polish referee, holding him responsible for their elimination in the Champions League semi-finals.

According to Marca, The second issue came from the Inter management. Instead of offering Barcelona a private box as is customary, they were placed in the stands, next to Inter fans. Joan Laporta and his directors, along with Joao Félix, had to move through the stands from the VIP area before the match.

During the game, tensions escalated as Inter supporters repeatedly insulted the Barcelona officials. At one point, a fan attempted to approach them but was stopped by security.

Despite this, Laporta and his team showed their enthusiasm for Barcelona's goals.
