Galatasaray exploring move for Jadon Sancho - reports
Galatasaray are reportedly keeping tabs on Jadon Sancho as the Manchester United winger faces an increasingly uncertain future, with his current loan spell at Chelsea failing to impress.
According to Turkish journalist Arda Ozkurt, the Istanbul giants are 'investigating' the 25-year-old’s situation ahead of the summer transfer window. Sancho, who joined Chelsea on a season-long loan, has struggled to find form at Stamford Bridge, casting doubt on whether the Blues will make his stay permanent.
Despite making 39 appearances across all competitions, Sancho has only managed four goals and eight assists – a return that may not justify Chelsea triggering the £25 million option to buy him. Reports suggest the London club could instead choose to pay a £5 million compensation fee to send the England international back to Old Trafford.
With Sancho’s contract at Manchester United running until 2026 and his time at the club seemingly at an end, Galatasaray could provide a new chapter for the former Borussia Dortmund star.
