Neville on Man Utd: 'Amorim needs transfer backing to build a new team that can progress and break into the top 4 next season'
Gary Neville has shared his opinion on the current situation at Manchester United.
Ruben Amorim’s team is currently in 16th place in the Premier League but will face Tottenham in the Europa League final.
“The approach has changed significantly over the past 12 months. I think Ineos have succeeded in the areas they can control.
"When it comes to the football side, that’s the hardest part – and this stage will take time. There will be some setbacks along the way.
"But we’re in the Europa League final. And if the team wins, they’ll qualify for the Champions League next season. That would be a real triumph after a tough campaign. These next few weeks are crucial.
"Ruben Amorim needs backing in the summer transfer window so we can hope to continue the work and build a new team that can start progressing and break into the top four next season,” said former Manchester United player Gary Neville.
