Borussia Dortmund join race for Doan
Eintracht Frankfurt are still trying to sign the Japanese winger, but competition is growing.
Borussia Dortmund have entered the race to sign 26-year-old winger Ritsu Doan, who currently plays for Freiburg.
Doan is open to a transfer, and Eintracht Frankfurt now face serious competition for the attacker.
Frankfurt remain highly interested in the player and plans to begin negotiations next week. However, with Dortmund now involved, the chances of an easy deal have significantly decreased.
According to Sky Sport Deutschland, Freiburg's sporting director Jochen Saier is demanding at least €20 million for Doan. His contract runs until 2027 and does not include a buyout clause.
This season, Ritsu Doan has played 35 matches, scoring 9 goals and providing 9 assists.
