Fans of Cologne break nose of team's top scorer - Tim Lemperle

After a "Daydrinking" event, Cologne's top scorer, Tim Lemperle, was attacked by fans of his own team. On Saturday, the Cologne players gathered to watch matches of their promotion rivals.

While the team didn't secure early promotion, the players continued partying into the night. On Sunday, Lemperle attended a "Daydrinking" event on the Roxy ship, where conflicts arose with several fans. He responded arrogantly, and later, he was attacked by a fan and two others, with one punching him and breaking his nose.

The incident is under police investigation. Cologne are fighting for promotion in the final match of the 2nd Bundesliga against Kaiserslautern, needing one point to secure it. However, Lemperle is unlikely to play due to his injuries. The striker, who has scored 10 goals this season, will move to Hoffenheim on a free transfer after the season ends.
