Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea battle for Joao Pedro - reports
Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea are among the Premier League clubs showing interest in signing Brighton forward Joao Pedro this summer.
The 23-year-old Brazilian international has impressed since joining Brighton from Watford for around £30 million in 2023, scoring 30 goals in 70 games.
Pedro's versatility and talent have caught the attention of the three giants, all looking to bolster their attacking options.
Liverpool, with a significant transfer budget under new manager Arne Slot, are expected to prioritize a striker, especially with Darwin Nunez's future at the club uncertain.
Arsenal has reportedly explored signing Pedro in the past and is considering various attacking options, including Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres and Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams.
Chelsea also has a long-standing interest in Pedro and is scouting other strikers, such as RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko and Ipswich Town's Liam Delap.
If Brighton decides to sell Pedro, they are likely to demand a substantial fee exceeding the £30 million they paid for him.
However, the Seagulls have already invested in young forward Stefanos Tzimas, signing him from Nuremberg for around £20 million in the winter window.
