Barcelona reportedly set sights on Vanderson as main right-back target

The potential transfer has also received the full backing of coach Hansi Flick, who is eager to add the young defender to his squad.
However, Barcelona face competition from Premier League clubs including Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, both reportedly monitoring Vanderson’s situation. Despite this, Vanderson’s desire to join Barcelona gives the Spanish club an advantage. AS Monaco are said to be demanding €35m for the full-back, and Barcelona are currently exploring financial options to complete the deal. Vanderson’s contract with Monaco runs until June 2028. This season, he has been a key player for the French side, featuring in 40 games, scoring two goals, and providing five assists. Statistically, he ranks among the top full-backs in Ligue 1 for interceptions, long passes, defensive duels, and possessions won, highlighting his defensive and tactical qualities.
