Wirtz family's trip to England last week focused mainly on Liverpool - Florian Plettenberg
Bayern Munich remain confident in their pursuit of Bayer star Florian Wirtz, with plans to complete the transfer in either 2025 or 2026.
Despite Bayern’s optimism, Premier League heavyweights Manchester City and Liverpool continue to circle. Both clubs are said to be preparing their own proposals and are determined to stay in the race until Wirtz makes a final decision.
The Wirtz family’s recent visit to England, reportedly focused on discussions with Liverpool, reports Florian Plettenberg.
When asked about the situation, Bayern director Uli Hoeneb dismissed ongoing rumours and took a swipe at recent media reports:
"What am I supposed to tell you now? You've been writing nonsense for weeks about him going to Man City, even though he was at Liverpool. We'll provide you with facts at some point."
