Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta will be suspended for the final match of this Premier League season.
On Sunday, Arteta’s side claimed a 1–0 win over Newcastle, securing second place in the Premier League and qualifying for the Champions League. Toward the end of the match at the Emirates, Arteta received a yellow card — his third of the season, according to the The Mirror. As a result, Arteta will be suspended for the final away match against Southampton and will have to coach Arsenal from the stands at St. Mary’s Stadium.
It’s worth noting that Arteta also had disciplinary issues last season, when he was one of the most frequently cautioned managers in the Premier League.
