Two intruders broke into his home while he was playing against Angers (2-0) on Matchday 34 of Ligue 1. Gaining access, they cracked open a safe and stole cash, jewelry, and luxury leather goods.
The value of the stolen items is estimated at tens of thousands of euros. Police have launched an investigation, but the perpetrators remain at large.
The match marked Lacazette’s last for Lyon, as he departs the club. The 33-year-old striker scored a brace in the game.
