Barcelona to announce Hansi Flick’s contract extension on Wednesday - reports

Hansi Flick will continue as Barcelona manager until June 2027. According to Mundo Deportivo, the club and the coach agreed terms after the El Clasico on 11 may, during a meeting at restaurant with president Joan Laporta and Flick’s agent.
The agreement extends his current deal, which was set to run out in 2026.
Flick reportedly turned down an extra optional year, preferring to keep the extension short. He has always favoured shorter contracts.
The club will confirm the renewal through an official statement. There won’t be a press event, but Flick will speak to the club’s own media.
