Beckham to Man United: Don't sell Fernandes, Mainoo or Garnacho
David Beckham has expressed his desire for Manchester United to retain key players, including captain Bruno Fernandes and young talents like Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho.
Despite interest from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, Beckham believes Fernandes has been exceptional and shouldn’t be sold.
"I’d like to think you wouldn’t have to sell your captain," Beckham said. "He has been exceptional.
"We’ve all been critical at times of some United players — but when we needed someone to step up, he has done it."
Beckham also emphasized the importance of keeping homegrown talents, saying, "I’d like to think that Manchester United don’t sell players that have grown up at the club, understand and love the club."
Beckham's comments highlight the need for United to strike a balance between financial prudence and nurturing their young talent.
With Amorim looking to rebuild the squad, Beckham's words of caution could be influential in shaping the club's transfer policy.
