'He has it': Bournemouth coach Iraola opens up on what Real Madrid will get in Dean Huijsen
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola believes Real Madrid will be getting a very mature, top-quality centre-back in Dean Huijsen.
"For someone that is just 20, he has handled this situation [transfer saga] quite well," Iraola said in his press conference on Monday.
"Real Madrid is probably the biggest club in the world, or one of the biggest, but I think he has the level.
"Not only on the football side, but also the maturity, the confidence in himself to go there and perform.
"He’ll have a lot of competition to play, but I trust him a lot and I think he’s going to be very good for Real Madrid,” Iraola said.
Real Madrid paid Huijsen's €50m release clause, making him their first summer signing, with many more to follow.
