'I believe we have a very good manager' - Beckham backs Amorim
David Beckham has expressed his support for Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, believing the Portuguese coach has a real opportunity to transform the club.
Despite a difficult start to the season, Beckham thinks Amorim's experience and success at Sporting CP make him the right man for the job.
"I believe that we have a very good manager now," Beckham told The Athletic. "I believe that we have a lot of people who are trying to bring stability around the club."
Beckham emphasized the importance of stability, noting that United's lack of it has contributed to their struggles.
Beckham wants Amorim to be given the freedom to bring in his own players and shape the team according to his philosophy.
"Ruben needs to be backed as a manager to bring in his team and his philosophy; he’s trying that already but I think once he brings his team in and his players, then you’ll see something different."
