Inter's Serie A schedule before UCL final against PSG revealed – one scenario could trouble Nerazzurri

Following a very tense League Council meeting, including a 20-minute interruption, the dates and times for the final matchday of the 2024–25 Serie A season were officially announced. This last round will determine the winner of the Scudetto, the Champions League qualification spots, and the final two relegations after Monza's drop.

NapoliCagliari and ComoInter, matches that don’t involve other teams’ interests, will be played on Friday, May 23. These two matches will decide the league title and directly affect Inter’s schedule, as they also have the Champions League final against PSG coming up on May 31.

If Napoli lose to Cagliari and Inter draws with Como, both teams would be level on points in the standings. According to Serie A rules, in the event of a tie at the top, a playoff match will be held between the two sides to determine the champion. This potential title decider would be played on Monday, May 26, if that scenario plays out.

That would leave Inter with only five days of rest before the Champions League final, instead of eight — a factor that could be significant for the big clash in Munich.

Meanwhile, PSG still have the French Cup final against Reims on Saturday to focus on before turning their attention to the season's last major showdown.
