Leon Goretzka no longer rules out early exit from FC Bayern - Sky
Leon Goretzka, who faced challenges under Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany at the start of the 2024/25 season, has become a key figure in the team’s midfield in recent months.
However, Sport Bild reported a few days ago that Bayern have no intention of extending Goretzka’s contract and would prefer to offload him early. This is now corroborated by Florian Plettenberg, who states that a contract extension beyond summer 2026 is off the table for both the club and the player. The 30-year-old German midfielder, whose current deal runs until 2026, is also not considering a renewal.
According to Plettenberg, anything could happen this summer. While Goretzka previously dismissed an early departure, he now appears open to a move, depending on concrete offers.
