Lille announce departure of Jonathan David, Samuel Umtiti, and five other players
Lille have confirmed that seven players will leave the club at the end of the season, as stated on the official website, with their contracts expiring and no renewals planned.
Among those departing are striker Jonathan David, midfielders Angel Gomes and Remi Cabella, defenders Mitchel Bakker and Samuel Umtiti, goalkeeper Vito Mannone, and forward Chuba Akpom.
David, who joined Lille from Gent in 2020, is reportedly in talks with Inter Milan.
This season, he recorded 25 goals and 12 assists in 48 appearances for Lille.
