Manchester City have pulled out of the race to sign Florian Wirtz, citing the incredibly high cost of the transfer, per multiple sources, including Fabrizio Romano.
Sacha Tavolieri claims that Man City manager Pep Guardiola is a huge admirer of Barcelona's Dani Olmo and wants him as a replacement for Wirtz.
Olmo only joined Barcelona last summer, but he missed a lot of games through injury.
Barca could sanction his sale only if they are sure of a suitable replacement. Someone like Xavi Simons is available, but like Wirtz, is also quite expensive.
