Morgan Gibbs-White emerges as top transfer target for Manchester City to bolster attacking midfield - reporst
Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White has become one of Manchester City’s most coveted targets for the attacking midfielder role, according to Sky journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Citizens are seriously considering the 25-year-old as a key addition to their squad, with Nottingham Forest aware of the interest. City have shifted focus to Gibbs-White after pulling out of the race for Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz.
Previously, talkSPORT reported that Forest value their star highly, aiming for a fee akin to the £100 million City paid Aston Villa for Jack Grealish in 2021.
This season, the English midfielder has featured in 37 matches for Forest, scoring 7 goals and providing 8 assists. His contract with Nottingham Forest runs until summer 2027.
